In the food packaging industry, time-to-market is vital and the demand for swift service is great.  Fresh and undamaged fruit and vegetables must be transported from the fields of producers to dinner tables of consumers quickly and efficiently, often crossing country borders before arriving at the final destination.

Because of this demanding life cycle, retailers and producers are calling for flexible, effective, cost efficient and state-of-the-art product solutions, all the way from transport to utilization of containers.

At our service center in Drammen we have specialized in handling the total national distribution, sorting, cleaning and inspection process of more than 16 million reusable plastic containers (RPCs) annually, used to transport fruit and vegetables.

Containers are picked up from central storage points in southern Norway, then driven to our service center for cleaning and returned to retailer’s storage points all over Norway, and back to farmers ready for reuse.
