Time to market is vital for the food industry
In the food packaging sector in particular, great demands are placed on service providers. The fruit and vegetables must be transported from the producer to consumers as quickly as possible, often across country borders. In many instances, the period between harvest and consumption is no more than a few days. In one of our service centers in Norway we handle the total national distribution, sorting, cleaning and inspection process of more than 16 million reusable plastic containers (RPCs). Our customer manages a worldwide rental pool of over 80 million RPCs used to transport fruit and vegetables.
